So I pulled a book off the shelf to take with me on a recent flight to Texas...figured I had plenty of air time and both ways, with 4 hour layover in both Houston and Nashville, so yep, I finished the entire book.

This one: The Secrets of Skinny Chicks by Karen Bridson

My "getting back on track" tip:

Find a book that you think has the potential to motivate you to get back on track, or just for continued success and motivation.

Underline key points that are important to you along the way.

After reading the book, go back and make a list of what it was that jumped off the page.

set a goal

make a plan

start today!

yes you can, I just did!

I usually have a stack somewhere around the house.

In the kitchen I usually have a stack of cookbooks, in the family room there is another stray or two, and a huge stack in the small study I have, which I call my "library". And I usually have one stashed in my purse, for those"hurry up and wait moments"! So the idea I had was to share some of these titles with you.

So here goes...oh...by the way...my intention is to give you periodic updates in this section called "the reading room" which you can search or find under the categories section on the left...happy reading...and be sure to let me know what books are helpful by leaving a comment just under the post, in the comment section.

I am crazzzzzy aboutbooks!

Right now amid the stacks my list looks like this:

Eat Smart, Walk Strong by Leslie Sansone

Eat All Day Diet by Helen Foster

Feeding Your Appetites by Stephen Arterburn

I Love Coffee by Susan Zimmer

The Green Letters by Miles J. Stanford

yes, you can, you have many more miles to go!

For more titles check out the post "Keep it Hot" and other post by searching "books" in the seach box to the left.

</rss:item></rdf:RDF>
