tell me more

Yes, indeed. I'm telling the whole story—I'm writing a book. Well actually, right now, it's still a manuscript, but you'll be glad to know that the writing is done. I've been at work on this manuscript since my journey began over 5 years ago. It's a story about my journey from thick to thin. I thought it would be finished last year, but I have discovered that writing a book takes longer than expected.

There are lots of details and stages of transformation as the manuscript makes it's way into a book. Currently, the manuscript is in the final editing process. I have heard it said that a book goes through about 6 edits...I'm not sure about that, but I do know that this one is on about edit number 5. During the editing process, all the information has to be reviewed for such things as accuracy and grammar—making sure all the details are stated with clarity. During the next few weeks it should be passing through it's final editing stages and on to the designers.

Yeah, designers. The next steps will include submitting the manuscript to a publisher where graphic artists will be putting the manuscript in a book format, designing the inside pages, as well as the outside cover. I'll soon be choosing photos to be included—befores and afters. Then it's on to the printers, where the manuscript becomes a book, just for you!

So, what is this book about and how can you get your copy? You can follow the progress here as the manuscript enters it's final stages of transformation and you'll be the first to get a sneak preview about the content and what the initial readers think about it.  So stay tuned as the excitement builds and the final product is ready for its reveal.

p.s. It doesn't have many more miles to go!
