These Weight-Loss Surgery Monthly Support Group meetings are surgeon supported and professionally led.

Studies show that those who attend support groups are more successful after surgery. Get plugged in to support group that fits your needs and share your experiences while learning from others. 

Two of our Wilmington, NC support groups are open to the public. Below is a schedule of meeting time and events, with more specific details following (as submitted) in subsequent post. 

On the FIRST Tuesday of each month (Dr. Miles)

NHRMC Cape Fear Site, Wrightsville, Ave    6:30 PM

3rd Floor Education Room

Directions: Take elevator to 3rd floor, exit to the right, make another right and then an immediate left into classroom.

On the SECOND Monday of each month (Dr. Harris)

SEAHEC Classroom D     6:00 PM

Directions to 17st Street, NHRMC:  Pull into the main driveway at NHRMC and turn left into the Betty Cameron Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Park in lot and enter via the main entrance. Take elevators (they are at the left) to the FIRST floor.  Exit, walk through waiting area and take hallway until you reach the SEAHEC library. Take the elevator to the ground floor. Exit the elevator and turn left. Classroom D is located to your immediate left.
