If you missed the september meeting, you missed a good one. Someone shared with us about lap bands. We viewed a film of the actually surgery and learned a lot of interesting facts including where to find support online. Even if you weren't a lap band patient, there was plenty of great information.
Don't let the topic keep you from coming to share your experiences with others and chat with others who will benefit from your successes and failures! There is always something new to learn! You'll be glad you did!

Topic: " Roadblocks to Success" by Kelly Broadwater. Kelly will
address a lot of LapBand specific issues in the presentation. Kelly is
a licensed professional counselor with the Chrysalis Center for
Counseling and Eating Disorder Treatment. Kelly recently gave this
presentation to Dr. Harris' Support Group. Make plans to attend!
